Morcheeba are back with the release of a new eclectic album, Head Up High, on October 14th! The band will release on the same day the lead single, Gimme Your Love.  This single is BEAUTIFUL. It is a synth.driven track featuring Skye's soulful vocals combined with a haunting ambient style. All 3 band members wrote the album and Paul was in charge of production. The album represents the changes in their lives over their 18 years as a trio. Their eighth studio album, ‘Head Up High’ is written by all three band members, Paul and Ross Godfrey and Skye Edwards with production by Paul Godfrey. The album reflects a series of significant changes in the trio’s lives. It has new bass sounds, synths and atmosphere making it a more uptempo paced album. Skye's vocals continue to add the ethereal feel on all tracks. This album hosts several features from artists like Chali 2na (Jurassic 5), Nature Boy, James Petralli (White Denim), Rizzle Kicks and Ana Tijoux. I've had the change to listen to the album in its entirety and my favourite tracks are: Gimme Your Love, Finally Found You, Do You Good, To The Grave, Under The Ice and I'll Fall Apart. Morcheeba will also embark on an European tour to support this new album!
