Hey guys! I wanted to introduce you to Chicago’s The Steak House Mints. The members are: Steve Gillis, Shawn Sommer, Vijay Tellis-Nayak, Scott Tipping and they've recently released their sophomore album, Love Songs for Prostitutes. They draw inspiration from 60’s orchestral pop, 70’s glam and power pop, 80’s new wave, 90’s Brit-pop and contemporary indie rock. This album is an example of these inspirations and there are some amazing tracks here. One of my favourite tracks is Don't Mess With Me. I love that piano and the infectious beat. You're going to love it, trust me! Tattoo is another track I love. It has a slower beat and reminds me of 60's music. It's a perfect radio ballad!! Overall it's a beautiful work with catchy chorus and great lyrics. If you enjoy pop music you will love this album! They have been confirmed for Taste of Chicago (date and set time pending) this summer!
