He now joins the already confirmed performers: Green Day, Taylor Swift, Pink, Rihanna, Alicia Keys and One Direction! The 2012 MTV VMAs will air live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 6, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
