Here I introduce you to british sensation: Lauren Housley. She will release her debut EP, One Step Closer, this Monday (June 11th) and I've had the change to listen to the entire EP. If you like soul music you will clearly love this record! She has a big strong voice that suits perfectly to this music genre. Listening to this EP is like going back to the Golden Era of Soul music with the likes of Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles. Face The World Alone is my favourite track off this EP! Just amazing! And the title track, One Step Closer, showcases her powerful voice in a soothing melody. Gotta love this song! Lauren's definitely an artist to keep an eye on!
