Será que a moda vai pegar? Após o sucesso que os Take That estão a ter com o regresso de Robbie Williams, eis que agora Brian McFadden pensa sobre os Westlife. O cantor deixou o grupo em 2004 e desde então tem seguido a sua carreira a solo, principalmente na Austrália. Agora perante o sucesso dos Take That e de grupos como os JLS e The Wanted, Brian vê os seus antigos companheiros a ter o novo single, Safe, apenas a chegar ao #10 das tabelas. Brian diz que sonhou estar nos bastidores de um grande concerto numa arena de futebol com os seus companheiros dos Westlife e agora está pronto para se reunir com os colegas de forma a mostrar a grupos como os JLS  o quanto eles valem. Bem... e isto vem uma semana depois dos Westlife terem dito que não estão a pensar num regresso de McFadden... ouch..

Reunions are so in right now! After the huge success that Take That are having with Robbie Williams back in the group now it's time to Brian McFadden to think about Westlife. The singer left the band in 2004 and since then is pursuing his solo career, especially in Australia. Now with all the success Take That are having as well as bands like JLS and The Wanted, Brian rethinks going back to Westlife.
I had a dream tonight I was back on stage with westlife playing some crazy sized flootball stadium. I'm not gonna lie! I woke up smiling, (sic). If I'm to be honest yes I would love to do an album with boys and show jls and take that what we are really made of! If the boys wanna challenge these newcomers I am always up for a fight. They know where. I am. Armed and ready to reclaim glory!
Why all this now? Well McFadden isn't happy to see their bandmates releasing a very "emotive" song and only peaking at #10:
The reason I'm feeling like this is I watch my boys release an incredible emotive song and video and it play third fiddle to average... When will folk [give] them the credit they deserve. They are not X Factor band. They hard working creative machine who sacrificed a lot to get here.
Hmm... good luck Brian... last week your bandmates reveal they were not considering reaching out to you for a reunion... ouch..
