O cantor Mario foi preso ontem de manhã por, alegadamente, ter agredido a sua mãe. De acordo com a TMZ a mãe de Mario, Shawntia Hardaway (que já esteve viciada em heroína) disse à polícia que o seu filho partiu diversas coisas (espelho, armário de loiça, etc) no apartamento que ambos partilham. Ela disse também que, no início da semana, ele a empurrou contra uma parede na qual ela bateu com a cabeça. Após isto Mario foi detido mas já saiu da cadeia havendo pago uma quantia de $50.000. A relação de Mario com sua mãe tem sido atribulada, principalmente quando ela era viciada em heroína.

Singer Mario was arrested yesterday morning for, allegedly, attacking his mother. According to TMZ Mario's mother, Shawntia Hardaway (former heroin addict) told police her son went on a rampage, breaking a mirror, a china cabinet, etc, on their shared apartment. She also said that, earlier the week, he pushed her "eight feet into a living room wall, where [she] hit her head on the wall".. Mario was then arrested but then released on $50,000 bond for 2nd degree assault. Mario's relationship with his mother has a history of trouble, especially when she was a drug addict.
