Here I introduce you to an excellent band: Fools For Rowan. There are 5 members on this Nashville band: Erin Mullins (vocals), Jordan Cullen (drums), Andrew "Gibby" Williams (bass), Ryan Harrison Nanney (rhythm guitar) and Rachel Brandsness (lead guitar). They are a fresh new rock band with some power vocals provided by Erin. In 2009 they released an album titled, Twisted. Tied Up. Tangled, which allowed them to build a solid fanbase. Their lyrics are very personal and the guitars solos are just brilliant. My favourite track of their album is Dead! If you know me by now I love these types of songs: rock but with a softer side and with very strong emotional lyrics. And Dead is that! I can completely relate to these lyrics. On the opposite side I love Tangled since it is upbeat and just makes me wanna dance and headbang! :P Hehe. Fools For Rowan are a very good rock band and bring out the best of the rock bands fronted by women!! They remind me the times I spent listening either to Evanescence, Within Temptation and Paramore: very strong lyrics, emotional rock ballads and then the edgier rock songs! :) I guess now I have another favourite rock band!! By the way Fools For Rowan are planning to release a new album this year and have been starting to record new songs but the band needs the help of their dedicated fans to assist them in their efforts to release this new album so they've launched a Kickstarter campaign. Let's support these great artists!! :)
