YSSY Drop New Single ‘Crystallize’

Toronto indie duo YSSY (say "yessy"), Comprised of singer-songwriter/producer Elliot Caroll and multi-instrumentalist/producer Simeon Abbott (also of Dwayne Gretzky), have just shared their brand new single Crystallize, a moody and incisve synthpop gem about life in a loop and the dream of clarity.

What I like the most about this song is its warmth, retro touches and infectious chorus that create quite a memorable mood. Crystallize finds the talented artists gifting us with ethereal samples nicely intertwined with Elliot's gorgeous vocals which float between melancholy and hope, with the chorus lifting with the emotional weight of the lush strings. I am also very fond of the driving beat, bright synths, groovy bass guitar plucks, lively keys and rhythsm that come together to create an overall dreamy synthpop atmosphere with a feel-good vibe.
