Stinako Shares New Single ‘I Have A Friend’

Finnish artist and music maker Stinako (Stina Koistinen) has just shared her brand new single I Have a Friend, the first single to be taken from her forthcoming third studio album Visions of Future. 

 

Featuring the Njet Njet 9 band, I Have a Friend is a song about the people in our lives that make life feel worth living. A tender song about the everyday blessings we sometimes forget to notice until we need them most. A relatable, deeply human song that is beautifully conveyed through Stinako's rich, expressive vocals which glide passionately over the memorable production that features warm brass elements, upright piano keys, soaring guitars and drum patterns that come together to create an overall warm, heartfelt listening experience.

Speaking about the song, Stinako said,

“I Have A Friend” started out as a song about friendship. But as I kept on writing it, I began to list different kinds of luck I have in my life — friendship, family, solitude, and a safe haven. This song poured out of me, with very basic major chords, very unusual for a melancholic such as myself.
