Jake Benjamin Shares New Single ‘monarch’

American singer and songwriter Jake Benjamin has just shared his brand new single monarch, an upbeat indie singer/songwriter song about maintaining the inner-royalty that gets lost along the hardships of adult life.

Featuring fellow artist Sirintip, monarch is a bold and empowering song about refusing to be diminished by fake friends, circumstances or anyone trying to clip your wings. It's an uplifting and empowering song about owning your power and reigning as a monarch on your own terms. This anthem, about staying true to their colourful selves no matter the storms we have to face in our lives, is beautifully conveyed through their expressive vocals which are nicely accompanied by lush horn sections, groovy rhythms, intricate guitar plucks and beats that come together to create an overall warm, feel-good listening experience.
