Are We Gonna Talk? finds the talented artist singing about reaching the end of your patience with someone who keeps repeating the same patterns. It's a bold song about knowing better, choosing yourself and deciding you're done trying. This relatable song is beautifully conveyed through Diaz's expressive, dynamic vocal delivery which is accompanied by punchy 80s drum patterns, shimmering synth lines and rhythms that come together to create an overall upbeat, feel-good listening experience.
