Christian Cherry Unveils New Single ‘Die Before I'm Famous’

British-Cypriot artist and songwriter Christian Cherry has just unveiled his brand new single Die Before I’m Famous, a stripped-back and deeply personal reflection on ambition, self-worth and the fear of running out of time before becoming the person you imagined you could be.

Out now via APOLLO, Die Before I'm Famous finds the talented artist capturing the strange loneliness of continuing to chase an uncertain dream, where desire, mortality and artistic validation begin to blur together. You can really feel the raw emotion and passion pouring from his vocal delivery as it glides effortlessly over the captivating production.

Accompanying his delicate, expressive vocals we have intricate guitar strums which are nicely intertwined with subtle rhythms and textures that build up in energy with soaring electric guitar riffs, enhancing the passion of his storytelling.

Speaking on that, Christian Cherry shares
“Die Before I’m Famous” is about the fear that if I don't make something of myself, I've wasted my life. It's about watching friends grow up, fall in love, get married and settle into lives that are supposed to make you happy, while feeling like you still have something you need to prove. The song is about how ambition can become so deeply embedded in your identity that you start confusing being successful with being worthy - and how terrifying it is to imagine dying before anyone knows your name.
