Morgan Emslie Shares New Single ‘Renegade’

12-year-old singer, guitarist, and songwriter Morgan Emslie has just shared her brand new single Renegade, a passionate melodic pop rock song.

Renegade finds the talented artist speaking from her Gen Alpha perspective, looking at a world that's less recognizable and questioning why no one seems shocked that the line of what is acceptable has changed. It shares a frustration about feeling complicit in systems of power that displace lives, spread propaganda and erode the rights and dignity of ordinary people.

A bold, socially conscious protest song about refusing to stay silent when home starts to feel like something unrecognisable. A message that is beautifully conveyed through Emslie's passionate vocals which glide effortlessly over soaring guitar riffs, punchy drum patterns and rhythms that create an overall high-energy listening experience.
