Lovebugs Share New Single ‘Hurry Up and Wait’

Basel-based band Lovebugs are back with their brand new single Hurry Up and Wait, a high-energy pop-rock gem out now via Gadget Records. 

 

Hurry Up and Wait is a devastating portrait of someone stuck in a cycle of passive waiting and self-doubt, with the constant fear of missing out, of always expecting the worst, and of never quite allowing yourself to live in the moment. A relatable song about the paralysing grip of anxiety and the hope that one day the waiting will finally mean something. All this is wrapped around a constrasting uplifting production on which those lush, passionate vocals glide effortlessly over. Accompanying those gorgeous vocals we have pulsating drums nicely intertwined with soaring guitar riffs and bright, expansive synths that come together to create an overall uplifting, euphoric listening experience.
