Alanna Matty Unveils New Single ‘Kitchen Scissors’

Canadian singer, songwriter and producer Alanna Matty has just unveiled her brand new single Kitchen Scissors, a warm and intimate piece of indie-folk music. 

 

Taken from her latest album Epilogue, Kitchen Scissors finds the talented artist singing about falling for someone whilst being paralysed by the fear of saying or wanting too much too soon, and never quite knowing where you stand. It's a song that captures the emotional turmoil of being tangled up in someone who holds all the power. A deeply vulnerable and relatable song that his flawlessly conveyed through Matty's rich, expressive vocals which are accompanied by gentle guitar strums, delicate piano keys, subtle rhythms and textures that come together to create an overall warm, heartfelt listening experience.
