Keni Titus Unveils New Single ‘the street’

LA-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Keni Titus has just shared her brand new single the street, a warm and intimate alt-pop gem.

Taken from her most intimate EP yet, AngelPink (no halo), which is out now via BannerYeer Recordings, the street was originally a demo that didn't make the album and was revisited and completed. This is a raw, delicate piece of music about having expectations for someone that unfortunately aren't met, realising that person isn't meant for you. This relatable storytelling is flawlessly conveyed through Keni Titus's delicate, heartfelt vocals which glide effortlessly over intricate acoustic guitar strums that come together to create an overall heartfelt and intimate listening experience.

Speaking about the song, Keni comments,
‘the street’ is a song I wrote about having expectations for someone you’re with and feeling let down when they don’t meet them. At the end of the day, you can’t make someone want something they don’t - or want you if they don’t. I thought the title ‘the street’ was kind of funny because of that saying, ‘he’s for the streets,’ so I had that trope in mind too lol.
