MAIH Unveils New Single ‘August’

Norwegian singer and songwriter MAIH has just shared her brand new single August, a melancholia-infused alt-pop song. 

 

Out now via DUR, August follows her passionate alt-pop gem I Hope You See Me and is the second single to be taken from her upcoming EP. What I like the most about this song is how delicate and dreamy MAIH's vocal delivery is, radiating vulnerability and raw emotion from start to finish. August is a song about struggling to allow someone to get close, fearing they may end up hurting you, a relatable message that is beautifully wrapped around lush guitar strums nicely intertwined with expansive synths and subtle rhythms that come together to create an overall warm, soothing atmosphere with a melancholic touch.
