Kyle Waves Unveils Bold New Dance-Pop Single ‘Internet Boy’

Singapore-born, NYC Queer Pop Artist Kyle Waves has just shared his brand new single Internet Boy, an infectious indie-electronic gem.

Internet Boy finds the talented artist exploring the complicated experience of being objectified, consumed, and misunderstood online, while reclaiming power and confidence within that dynamic. It's a catchy and cleverly crafted track about the intoxicating but ultimately hollow nature of being someone's digital obsession. This relatable message is beautifully conveyed through his smooth, expressive vocals which glide confidently over an infectious production built around echoing synths and pulsing electronic rhythms that come together to create an overall smooth, sensual and danceable listening experience.

Speaking about the song, Kyle Waves said,
I’ve been experimenting with the themes and viewpoints in my music lately. I wanted to highlight my experience of being objectified and viewed as a product or something that people can play with, just because I post myself or my work online. It’s an experience that I know I share with a lot of gay men, in particular, when it comes to online culture.
