Written after a surprise visit from a real muse named Amabel Lee at Brendan Forrest’s remote Colorado homestead, the song captures the spark of human connection after a long stretch of solitude. It's a beautifully-crafted Folk/Americana/Bluegrass cut about a wandering soul who finds his world changed by one glance from a blue-eyed girl.
