Alva Lys Shares New Single ‘Wildflowers’

Copenhagen-based, Swedish singer and songwriter Alva Lys has just shared her brand new single Wildflowers, an upbeat indie-folk/pop gem out now via Collisions and Murmurs. 

 

The follow up to last month's cinematic indie-pop gem Dancing with my Shadow, Wildflowers is an uplifting indie-pop song about resilience, vulnerability and continuing to grow in places that were never made for you. It's a powerful and hopeful track about surviving the darkest nights and discovering that broken soil can grow the most extraordinary things. 

 

This gem marks a new chapter for Alva Lys, moving from atmospheric alt-pop and electronic textures towards a warmer, more organic indie-pop sound. Wildflowers pairs Alva Lys's gorgeous, passionate vocals with warm guitar riffs nicely intertwined with dreamy harmonies, punchy drum beats, lush strings and rhythms that build towards a powerful, emotional chorus.
