Canadian synth/dream-pop project A Days Wait have just shared their brand new single First Time, a dreamy synthpop cut. 

 

Produced by Mitch Bowden, First Time is a song about a relationship that left deep scars, leaving one destructive, doubtful, and worn down. An honest and atmospheric song about the toll a love can take and the messy aftermath of finally stepping out of its shadows. A relatable song that is beautifully conveyed through those smooth, expressive vocals which glide nonchalantly over the bright, expansive synths, steady drum beats, lush guitar plucks, rich electronic textures and rhythms that come together to create an overall warm listening experience.
