Los Angeles-based indie rock outfit lovelytheband, consisting of lead singer Mitchy Collins, guitarist Jordan Greenwald and drummer Sam Price, are back with anywhere but on my mind, their most emotionally raw single yet. 

 

Out now via Ansatz Music Group, anywhere but on my mind is a bittersweet indie pop confessional about the person you can't stop thinking about, no matter how hard you try. It's an achingly relatable account of being absolutely not over someone whilst desperately pretending otherwise. It captures that universal feeling of scrolling through someone's social media, hearing their name through mutual friends, and wishing you could just move on. 

 

A relatable storytelling that is flawlessly conveyed through Mitchy Collins's gorgeous, expressive vocals which glide effortlessly over the sun-soaked production. Apart from those gorgeous vocals, I am particularly fond of the intricate guitar riffs nicely intertwined with steady drum beats, bright synths and dreamy melodies that come together to create a song perfect for spring heartbreak and summer reflection.
