Kiki Rowe Unveils New Single ‘Fool’

Canadian singer, songwriter and producer Kiki Rowe has just shared her brand new single Fool, a soulful piece of Contemporary R&B taken from her Pieces of Me EP, which is out now. 

 

What I like the most about this song is its warmth and how soulful and earnest her vocal delivery is, beautifully drawing my attention to her storytelling. Fool finds the talented artist capturing the exhaustion of staying in a toxic, emotionally unhealthy relationship that is hard to let go of. It shows one hoping love can heal those unresolved issues but eventually they realise they're the only one fighting for it, leading to the painful acceptance that the relationship can't be fixed. The love can still feel quite powerful and addictive, even though it's already damaged and draining. A relatable song that is flawlessly conveyed through her gorgeous vocals which are accompanied by intricate guitar plucks nicely intertwined with steady beats and textures that come together to create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere.
