Hanna Andréa Shares New Single ‘Get Off Your Phone’

Norwegian singer-songwriter Hanna Andréa has just shared her brand new single Get Off Your Phone, an energetic alt-pop track with early 2000s pop-punk influence.
The follow up to last month's cinematic alt-pop anthem Braveheart, Get Off Your Phone finds the talented artist delivering a sassy challenge to a screen-obsessed culture, highlighting how constant doom-scrolling causes life’s most meaningful moments to slip by unnoticed. This youthful call to reconnect beyond the screen was co-written by Andréa alongside Michael Biancaniello, James Conner, Kelsey Gauthier, and Dominique Vellutato, and blend melodic pop instincts with flashes of late ‘90s and early 2000s rock nostalgia.
I am really enjoying the tone of her voice and how passionate her Andréa's vocal delivery is, soaring effortlessly over restless, muted guitars and punchy drum patterns that come together to create a high-energy, anthemic atmosphere that encourages a return to presence and connection in an increasingly distracted world.
Speaking about the song, Hanna Andréa said,
I got social media later than a lot of my friends, so there were a lot of times when I’d be hanging out with them, and they’d just be scrolling while I awkwardly stared into space, not knowing what to do. I always thought it was kind of sad to be together in the same room but not actually be doing anything together.
