Filius Unveils New Single ‘THINKIN BOUT YOU’

Filius — the stage name of producer and DJ Erik Chen working between London and Vienna - has jsut shared his brand new single THINKIN BOUT YOU, an upbeat electro-pop cut. 

 

THINKIN BOUT YOU finds the talented artist reflecting the way technology is reshaping modern connections, blending synthetic textures, digital artefacts, interrupted phrases, and heavily processed vocal moments juxtaposed with raw, exposed passages. I am really enjojying how smooth and expressive the vocals are and how they are accompanied by a captivating and infectious elctronic production. Apart from the vocals I am very fond of the synths and how they are nicely intertwined with glitchy textures, catchy loops and rhythms that come together to create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere.
