What I like the most about this song is how expressive and evocative Alyssa Caroline's vocals are, beautifully capturing my attention from start to finish. Clouds finds the talented artist chronicling the internal tug-of-war of a heart that has "built walls" only to watch them crumble under the weight of a sudden, undeniable connection. A beautiful love song about someone falling deeply in love whilst being terrified of getting hurt again. It's a quietly vulnerable and deeply relatable song about the courage it takes to let someone in when love has let you down before, a message flawlessly conveyed through Caroline's gorgeous vocals.
