ALBI. Releases New Single ‘NERVOUS SYSTEM’

Brisbane/Meanjin-based singer and songwriter ALBI. shares her brand new single NERVOUS SYSTEM, a rich electro-pop cut out now via Nü Inc. Sound. 

 

The latest single to be taken from her debut EP IF YOU GET IT, out now, following GRAVIT82U, HEARTSONG (featuring Jewel Owusu), CRASHOUT, and SHORT SIGHTED, NERVOUS SYSTEM finds the talented artist sharing a story built around themes of self-sacrifice and emotional burnout, pulling together the emotional and sonic direction of the EP. I am really enjoying how her smooth, passionate vocals glide effortlessly over the rhythmic production that pairs rich electronic textures with catchy beats, soaring guitar riffs and rhythms that come together to create an emotional and honest listening experience.

Speaking about the EP, ALBI. said,

I spent about a year creating my debut EP with Song Higginson. Sending him demos and references that were worlds apart from each other, yet somehow we created this catchy, experimental and slightly chaotic sound to truly capture the essence and message of each song in a special way. Each track touches on experiences and emotions I’ve carried personally, so I hope it’s something people can connect with. The EP is my first born and I’m so proud to be starting off with a project and sound that feels uniquely mine, and now, yours too.
