Some Sprouts Share New Single ‘grow in our own way’

German indie-pop band Some Sprouts have just shared their brand new single grow in our own way, a groovy indie-disco song that explores the process and the courage it takes to commit to another person. 

 

grow in our own way finds the band singing about a hesitant exploration of two people in love but too scared to say it out loud, showcasing the vulnerability as one acknowledges that this love may not look like what either of them imagined, but feeling it pull them forward anyway. It shows the leap of faith and corage to step into the unknown and just go for it. A relatable storytelling that is beautifully conveyed through smooth, expressive vocals that are beautifully accompanied by a dreamy mix of disco, slacker rock and indie-pop music. Apart from those layered vocals, I am particularly fond of the groovy bass which is nicely intertwined with lush guitar plucks, bright, hazy synths and steady drum beats that come together to create an overall warm, dreamy atmosphere packed with raw emotion.
