Florida-based 4-piece group Treis & Friends are back with their brand new single after midnight, a smooth and soulful indie-r&b gem. 

 

Taken from their double single aftermidnight,sundaymorning, out now via shiliah's haus, after midnight finds the artists sharing a message of being frustrated, burnt out, and in a complicated relationship with a past love. It describes a one-sided relationship where someone only reaches out late at night, seeking comfort or attention when they're lonely, perfectly summarising the experience of every "u up?" text and diving deep into the long term impacts on the human psyche of living a relationship buit on uncertainty. 

 

A relatable storytelling beautifully conveyed through Treis (Alexander) gorgeous, soulful vocals which glide effortlessly over the captivating production that features lush guitar riffs, nicely intertwined with subtle synths, killer bass, infectious groove, and catchy drops that together create an overall warm atmosphere with danceable touches.
