Mindy Gledhill Drops New Single ‘Hidden Pictures’

American singer and songwriter Mindy Gledhill has just shared her brand new single Hidden Pictures, a delicate indie-folk gem. 

 

The latest single to be taken from her The Phone Booth Sessions, Vol. 2 album, which is out now via Blue Morph Music, Hidden Pictures was specifically inspired by the "hidden pictures" within larger illustrations often seen in children’s magazines and activity books. These more obscured images aren't as immediately obvious, yet they are often the most salient and introspective aspects of the full picture. It shows a reflection on how beneath pain, struggle, and ordinary appearances there is hidden beauty and meaning in life, encouraging listeners to look closer at the world aroudn them and discover the quiet treasures that are already there. 

 

This relatable storytelling is beautifully conveyed through Gledhill's rich, expressive vocals which glide effortlessly over intricate acoustic guitar riffs that are seamlessly intertwined with gentle rhythms and echoing harmonies that come together to create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere!
