Portuguese/Mozambican multi-instrumentalist Milton Gulli teams up with young Lisbon based musician-producer Tayob J. to deliver his brand new single Ainda, a smooth Retro-Soul/Contemporary R&B gem. 

 

Out now via Tangential Music, Ainda (literally translated as Still in English) is a pensive, self-empowering song about a relationship lost to him but he still remains, in his own light. What I like the most about this song is its warmth and how smooth and soulful Milton Gulli's vocals are, gliding delicately over the captivating production. Apart from his gorgeous vocals, I am particularly fond of the delicate bass nicely intertwined with lush, cinematic strings, steady drums and percussion, acoustic and electric guitars and soothing rhythms that come together to create an overall warm, laid-back gem perfect for a relaxing weekend!
