Nova Scotia-raised, Ottawa-based singer-songwriter Malia Rogers shares her brand new single Sunlight (A Good Death), a healing, Celtic-influenced folk single that approaches loss through the lens of gratitude rather than despair.

This song is inspired by her grandfather, John Matthews, who passed away years ago and it finds the talented artist reflecting on the memories shared with her grandfather, from childhood moments to the quiet intimacy of his final days. It shows both the sadness and lightness that define its emotional core.
