Malaika Shares Vibrant Indie-Pop Single ‘Real Deal’

London based singer-songwriter Malaika has just shared her brand new single Real Deal, a vibrant indie-pop gem. 

 

Taken from her forthcoming debut EP, due in May, Real Deal follows the much acclaimed Pretty Pretty Thing and marks another step forward in her sound and songwriting. Co-produced with JMAC (Sadie Jean, Medium Build), and drums by Freddy Sheed (Lewis Capaldi, The 1975, Japanese House), Real Deal finds the talented artist capturing the relief of of finding a relationship that feels secure and lasting, stepping away from uncertainty and into something aligned and genuine; reflecting emotional clarity, growth, stability and self-worth. This message is beautifully conveyed through Malaika's smooth, expressive vocals which glide nonchalantly over lush guitar riffs nicely intertwined with steady drum patterns and captivating rhythms that come together to create an overall warm and vibrant atmosphere!
