Sasha & The Bear Share New Single ‘Air’

Sasha & the Bear, the project of singers, songwriters, producers Sasha Daniel and Dov Igel, share their brand new single Air, a moody, meditative indie-folk/electronica cut. 

 

Taken from their upcomming debut album, set to arrive this summer, Air (recorded in the beautiful Portuguese countryside) carries the stillness and space of its surroundings into the music. A meditation on the physical persistence of grief, Air finds the duo exploring the moment when we stop resisting loss and begin living alongside it, allowing it to become a quiet, threadbare companion rather than an enemy. A relatable storytelling that is flawlessly conveyed through Sasha's atmospheric, intimate vocals which glide naturally over Dov's skeletal yet textured production that features lush rhythms, delicate acoustic guitar strums and rich electronic textures. Air finds beauty in restraint, capturing the rhythm of rust and ultimately landing in a fragile but defiant peace.
