Myles Lloyd Shares New Single ‘DMC’ feat. GEMINI, Karencici, & JUNNY

Rising Canadian R&B sensation Myles Lloyd shares his brand new single DMC, an upbeat K-Pop reimagining of his breakout hit “Drive Me Crazy,” born out of the song’s unexpected rise in South Korea. 

 

For this song Myles Lloyd teamed up with South Korean sensation GEMINI, American singer-songwriter Karencici and Korean-Canadian artist JUNNY to gift us with a super soulful and warm piece of music that is infused with nostalgic textures and infectious rhythms. What I like the most about this song is how all of their vocals fit beautifully together, all radiating so much soul, sensuality and emotion that instantly won me over from the start. Accompanying their stellar vocal performances and harmonies we have a trap-infused beat nicely intertwined with rich electronic textures, modern R&B elements and dreamy melodies that come together to create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for a laid-back weekend!

Seeing all the love coming out of Korea really reignited my passion for the high energy feeling that K-pop brings. I went back and revisited a lot of the songs I used to love and discovered some newer artists along the way like Karencici, JUNNY, and GEMINI. Even though it felt like a long shot, I knew I had to find a way to bring them all together on one record.
