Marika Che Shares New Single ‘Little Cures (Come Right on Time)’

Marika Che, the project of Marika Justad, previously the frontwoman of the indie-rock band TANGERINE, has just shared her brand new single Little Cures (Come Right on Time), a warm indie-pop song with americana touches. 

 

What I like the most about this song is its warmth and how it feels perfect for a road trip during the summer. Little Cures (Come Right on Time) is a song about resilience, chasing a glimpse of light from childhood and, despite the darkness, having the strenght to turn the page every morning and keep moving forward. A relatable storytellg that is beautifully conveyed through Marika's dreamy husky vocals which float effortlessly over intricate guitar strums nicely intertwined with a steady drum beats, a twangy lead line and warm bass, together creating an overall warm atmosphere perfect for the free spirits who get a little melancholy and blue at times, but ultimately keep finding beauty all around them.
