John Blaylock Unveils New Single ‘Violets’

Manchester-based artist John Blaylock has just unveiled his brand new single Violets, a sad folk-pop gem. 

 

Out now on Dreadnought Records, Violets finds the talented artist sharing a message of loving someone who carries a lot of unresolved trauma and deep wounds, making the relationship a bit unstable. It finds him frustrated as he knows the love was powerful, yet constantly undermined by conflict and emotional baggage. In the end he accepts heartbreak, having chosen love and passion over emotional coldness, and walking away with scars but with no regrets. A relatable and heartfelt storytelling that is beautifully conveyed through his passionate vocals which glide effortlessly over a captivating acoustic guitar-based melody that is nicely intertwined with delicate piano keys, steady drum beats and an anthemic chorus that come together to create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere!
