Seattle-based indie-folk singer-songwriter Hayden Everett shares his brand new single Killer Whale, an introspective indie-folk gem. 

 

Taken from his forthcoming debut album So The Sun Can Pour, set for release April 17th, Killer Whale is a sweet and overflowing love song written during the first euphoric week of a surprising new relationship. It beautifully captures the restless excitement of fresh love and the urge to put everything else down and run straight into someone’s arms. A relatable storytelling built around Everett's sumptuous, heartfelt vocals which are accompanied by warm acoustic textures, steady beats and heavenly strings, capturing Everett at his most vulnerable and quietly expansive. Killer Whale is a warm, mellow gem with a strikingly intimate slow-down outro, ending with the line, “I will love you, but I just can’t love you slow.”
