Goodnight Sunrise Share New Single ‘Over You’

Toronto rock band Goodnight Sunrise, led by the dual male-female vocal alchemy of keytarist Vanessa Vakharia and guitarist David Kochberg, have just shared their brand new single Over You, a high-energy alt-pop/punk gem. 

 

I am really enjoying the energy of the song and how it is giving me early 2000s pop/punk vibes. Over You finds the band sharing a message about trying to move on from a toxic past relationship, while still feeling emotionally haunted by it. The song highlights the unresolved feelings and the lingering question of whether the other person ever truly let go too. A relatable storytelling beautifully conveyed through Vanessa Vakharia's passionate vocals which are nicely accompanied by David Kochberg's vocals, both soaring effortlessly over a memorable production that pairs soaring electric guitar riffs with punchy drum beats, together creating an infectious, high-energy atmosphere perfect to dance to and sing along out loud!
