Sports Share New Single ‘Drama King’

Dream-pop duo Sports, comprised of longtime collaborators Cale Chronister and Christian Theriot, have just shared their brand new single Drama King, the next single from their forthcoming self-titled album, Sports, arriving February 20, 2026 via ONErpm. 

 

Drama King finds the Oklahoma-based duo sharing a story that circles themes of jealousy, self-doubt, and the mental spirals that come with overthinking. This internal world they've built is flawlessly conveyed through smooth, effortless vocals which are accompanied by a buoyant, playful arrangement. Apart from those gorgeous vocals, I am particularly fond of the rich guitar riffs nicely intertwined with jittery synths, warped tones, elastic rhythms, and memorable piano keys that together create an overall warm and dreamy listening experience!
