ROREY Shares New Single ‘Temporary Tragedy’

New York native singer-songwriter ROREY shares her brand new single Temporary Tragedy, a powerful, raw and poignant bedroom pop track.

Out now on Killphonic Records, Temporary Tragedy finds the talented artist singing about the cost of sacrificing one's needs to make a relationship work but realising that love isn't enough to make it work when the other person can't meet you halfway, finally ending up choosing yourself. A relatable storytelling that is beautifully conveyed through ROREY's smooth, soothing vocals which are accompanied by intricate guitar plucks nicely intertwined with lush strings and rhythms that together create an overall warm and intimate atmosphere. This gem is shared alongside a cinematic music video which chronicles the rumination and constant spiraling that can occur after a relationship falls apart.

Speaking about the song, ROREY confides,
The song is about the cost of self abandonment when you grip intimacy and what it means to choose yourself. While the video is rooted in my first queer relationship, its message is universal: sometimes love isn’t enough to bridge the gap between hope and reality, when the other person can't meet you there.
