Namira Drops New Single ‘California Fever’

Korean-American singer-songwriter, DJ, and producer, Namira shares her brand new single California Fever, the title track of her debut EP which is out now on Stereo Embassy. 

 

Written in memory of her mother, California Fever references the "American Fever", the Korean term for the wave of immigration to the United States in the 1970s. This love letter to the American Dream finds the talented artist channelling the free spirit of her mother's generation whilst establishing herself as an authentic voice. What I like the most about this song, apart from her vocals, is how it beautifully pairs Folk-Rock and Americana elements with EDM and Operatic touches that make this quite a memorable listening experience. I am particularly fond of the guitar plucks that are seamlessly intertwined with killer drum beats that are then joined by energetic dance rhythms that together create an overall upbeat, feel-good atmosphere perfect for her storytelling to soar!
