JUNG & Baby Hooligans Share New Single ‘Vacation’
Swedish indie-pop duo JUNG, consisting of brothers Tom and Henrik Ljungqvist, have just shared their brand new single Vacation, a bright, sun-soaked anthem perfect to keep us warm during these cold winter days.
The title track from their upcoming EP, set for release in April 2026 via Känslofabriken, Vacation is a bright and uplifting song about that feeling when we come back home from holiday and we're tired and in need of another break to recover from them.
Built on early-2000s indie and Britpop-inspired production and crafted in London with legendary producer Tim Powell (“Believe”) and hit songwriter James Bell (Tiësto’s “The Business”), Vacation features Tom and Henrik's daughters, Sam and Mary, who lend their voices to the chorus. What I like the most about this song is its anthemic touch and feel-good vibes with their gorgeous vocals gliding passionately over the infectious production that features killer bass guitar plucks nicely intertwined with soaring electric guitars and upbeat drum patterns that together make this quite a fun and memorable listening experience perfect to make this song a hit for the summer!
Speaking about the song, the duo said,
You know that feeling when you get home from a vacation and realise you need… well, another vacation? You're more exhausted than when you left, whether it's from partying too hard or travelling with kids. That's exactly what our new single captures – the need for a vacation from your vacation.
