Stockholm’s rising alt-pop artist Halon returns with her intoxicating new single How Can You, How Can I, a sleek and cinematic blend of alt-pop, indie R&B, and emotional electro-pop. 

 

The second single to be lifted from her sophomore album, due Spring 2026, How Can You, How Can I finds Halon teaming up with songwriter Hilda Stenmalm and sharing a message about going through grief and the cost of pride. A kind of sex-sad storytelling that is flawlessly conveyed through Halon's smooth, ethereal-like vocals and dreamy harmonies which glide effortlessly over a trap-inspired beat, retro synth lines and ambient textures that come together to create an overall emotional and dreamy blend of alt-pop, r&b and electro-pop music perfect for a laid-back weekend!

Speaking about the song, Halon said,

We wanted to write something that makes people feel sexy and untamed, even in the middle of grief. The song is a confession about the cost of pride, and both a release and a romanticization of sorrow.
