Genre-blending pop-soul artist Lily Lane has just shared her brand new single Amnesia, the latest single to be lifted from her latest EP, Domesticated, out now via More Trouble Music. 

 

I am a fan of Lily Lane's rich, soulful vocals and how they glide passionately over the captivating retro-soul production. Amnesia is a song about a relationship you have outgrown but still feel in every place you go. It captures the bittersweet moment where you’re stronger now without them but the memories still tap you on the shoulder around every corner. You try to forget that relationship but those memories keep resurfacing and won't let go, where Amnesia becomes a metaphor for relief, to escape that replay of unfinished feelings and hurt. This relatable storytelling is flawlessly conveyed through Lane's gorgeous vocals which are accompanied by lush drum patterns nicely intertwined with guitar plucks and rich textures that come together to create an overall passionate and warm listening experience!
