Drew Schueler Unveils Heartfelt Single ‘I Thought By Now’

Nashville-based pop singer, songwriter and producer Drew Schueler has just unveiled his brand new single I Thought By Now, a heartfelt, devastatingly relatable gem taken from his Vulnerable For Once EP, which is out now!

What I like the most about this song is how raw, honest and relatable the song is, with Schueler reflecting on the time spent pursuing one's dreams, feeling frustrated by having worked so hard without little to no progress, hoping that by now we'd have things more figured out. It highlights the burnout and fear of wasted time, but having others reassure them that despite everything, they are meant for this. I fully understand following a dream and after a while feeling like you haven't truly gone that far, feeling embarrassed, guilty and pressured to make it work. You can feel the raw emotion pouring from his stellar vocal performance which creates a vulnerable and relatable atmosphere that won me over from the start.

Accompanying his gorgeous vocals we have delicate acoustic guitar plucks nicely intertwined with steady rhythms and emotive piano keys that enhance the song's warmth and comforting touch before bursting with energy towards the end with explosive electronic beats and percussive elements that match that spark of purpose to keep on going.
