Bino Bames Unveils Heartfelt Single ‘I’m Sorry’

20-year-old multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and creative force Bino Bames returns with I'm Sorry, a heartfelt acoustic-driven gem.

Taken from his upcoming debut EP Gathers No Moss (out later this year), I'm Sorry finds the half-Filipino, half-American artist revealing a rawness and emotion to his songwriting, fusing the sounds of some of his musical heroes: an innocent, lamenting, DIY sound of Daniel Johnston, with a quiet yet powerful yearning of Mac Miller. Embracing a more acoustic song to his previous releases, I'm Sorry is a heartfelt acoustic guitar-based song that finds the talented artist beautifully showcasing his smooth, heartfelt vocals that exude soul and raw emotion from start to finish. I am also very fond of the haunting harmonies and the touches of melancholia and sadness in the song, making it perfect for an introspective weekend home alone.

The accompanying music video, directed by Bino's long term collaborator, creative director Jorge Foley encases Bino's look with Russian puppet-theatre inspiration. Jorge says
'Bino was insisting on going for 'a cold emo' look, and I always liked taking influences from Russian theatre, which in itself is already quite cold and 'sad', so the whole puppet look is inspired on 'The Adventures of Buratino' a Russian play which in turn inspired by Pinnochio.'
