Sarina Shares New Single ‘Fools Gold’

Tokyo pop-rock artist Sarina shares her brand new single Fools Gold, a powerful Dark Wave-infused Alt-Rock gem taken from her The Fool EP out now via SyrenSong! 
 
The follow up to last month's infectious alt-pop/rock gem If you need me to be the villain (Then maybe I am), Fools Gold is also produced by Kevin Thrasher (Blink-182, Avril Lavigne) and finds the talented artist singing about the smoke and mirrors of glamour and the dark side underneath. I am loving how powerful and passionate Sarina's vocals are, effortlessly drawing our attention to the facade of glamour all drenched in gothic theatricality, with a symphonic rock twist and a breathtaking vocal climax. Apart from Sarina's stellar vocal performance, I am particularly fond of the lush, cinematic strings nicely intertwined with delicate piano keys, punchy drum beats and soaring guitars that come together to create a high-energy and passionate listening experience!

 

Speaking about the song, Sarina said,

‘Fools Gold’ is my most powerful song to date. It’s about the smoke and mirrors of glamour and the rot the hides beneath. It’s easy to paint pretty colours on top of festering wounds, to cover and hide and boast when deep down we feel the sickness, the decay, the lie of it all. That’s why the song is called ‘fools’ gold. It’s not real, the shine, the value, none of it is real. It’s just a facade.
