OTHEOSE Unveils New Single ‘Continental Drift’

OTHEOSE, the project of Canadian artist Kevin Krouglow, shares his brand new single Continental Drift, the title track of his upcoming album. 

 

This is such a dreamy and atmospheric piece of music that feels quite comforting and soothing, perfect for late-night drives and introspective moments alone. I am loving the delicate vocals and ethereal harmonies and how they beautifully capture our attention to his storytelling: a reflection on the widening divides between people — both personally and across society. It captures how polarization creeps in gradually until the distance feels unbridgeable, but still give us a thread of hope about our shared humanity, as a fragile but vital connection. Accompanying those gorgeous vocals we have subtle acoustic guitars nicely intertwined with lush sound design, pulsing sequencer synths and rhythms that come together to create an emotional and cinematic soundscape perfect for a laid-back weekend!
