Alanna Matty Shares New Single ‘Last’

Canadian singer, songwriter and producer Alanna Matty has just shared her brand new single Last, a captivating indie/folk-pop song about how easy it is to lose yourself in the idea of a person, or of a relationship. 

 

Out now via River Bank Records, Last is the second single to be lifted from her upcoming album Epilogue and finds the talented artist singing about trying to heal after a painful love, learning to let go while still carrying those emotional scars. It's a song about wanting to grasp for the stability one once had, now realising they have to learn to be okay on their own first before pursuing another relationship. An intimate and vulnerable storytelling that is flawlessly conveyed through Alanna Matty's smooth, enchanting vocals which are accompanied by a sparse production, driven forward by an acoustic rubber bridge guitar and slowly building into a lush playground of sounds; vocal harmonies, slide guitar and piano give voice to a growing optimism and confidence.
